Biopsy, etc.

By the way, the biopsy results came back positive for Celiac, but the Dr. wants TTG and IgA blood tests before he'll diagnose me because the biopsy is apparently nonspecific (meaning it could indicate a few other things as well, such as infection...?!). What's up with that?? In my professional (ahem) opinion, the blood tests should be used more as screening tools, with biopsy as confirmation. Did I go through that less-than-pleasant EGD for nothing?!
